For August’s project of the month, our Managing Director; Kieran Harris chose a bathroom project that oozes cool – hint: you’d love to take a soak in here!
Mrs Glossop’s Bathroom, Leeds
Bathroom storage and space
Mrs Glossop of Calverley, Leeds came to us wanting to make the most of her bathroom space whilst retaining vital storage and having a large separate shower unit plus a freestanding bath. This project made a refreshing change in the sense we had to make next to no changes in terms of the existing bathroom shape, meaning we could get to work on the layout and design straight away!
The width of this bathroom was perfectly suited to incorporate a freestanding acrylic bath (a great cost effective alternative to a freestanding stone bath) in front of a feature tile wall at one end, with a large separate shower enclosure (with co-ordinating tiled strip) and LED lit wall hung storage unit at the opposite end.
In terms of materials, we used British made tiles and taps, as well as a British made radiator and shower enclosure and pulled the look together with a classic white suite which speaks for itself!
Style wise, Mrs Glossop opted for minimal and timeless tones of grey, white, chrome and brown that work really well together and give this bathroom a cool, crisp finish. The wall hung furniture with feature LED strip beneath help to create ambient bathroom lighting – perfect for those late night relaxing bubble baths!
We’re certainly jealous!
